My Story
I first heard of Scentsy many years ago while attending an outdoor street fair. I came across a booth with a lady selling Scentsy products. I purchased a mini warmer and a bar of wax. I was excited to take it home and begin using it. My oldest son also liked it and asked if we could plug the warmer in his room, so we did. Well, we began warming the wax and when the scent faded, we didn't really know how to change the wax, the lady that sold it to me didn't tell me how to change it. Wax changing was messy and not fun! Then my son kept bumping the warmer and melted was getting on the wall and carpet! I had trouble cleaning the spilled wax. When we ran out of wax, I had no way of getting more because she didn't give me her contact info. It wasn't fun and I was over it and threw the warmer away!
Flash forward to a few years ago, my youngest son Josh invited me to a fundraiser for the girl's softball team at his high school. It was a Scentsy fundraiser and the consultant was so helpful and informative. She showed me how to change out my wax and took my information down and gave me hers. I began using the product and enjoying it! My consultant was there to help me with waxidents! And answered any of my questions! That changed everything for me. Before I knew it, I began sharing my love for Scentsy with my family and friends. I began buying them Scentsy warmers as gifts and they began to love Scentsy too!
One day my Scentsy consultant asked me if I would like to become a consultant, she said "you may as well, you've got your family and friends buying Scentsy, you should get paid for yours and their purchases!" I mentioned it to my husband and he said "YOU NEED TO JOIN SCENTSY! With the number of purchases your making!" If you know me, you know that I'm the least likely person to join a multi-level marketing company! I'm super shy, introverted, I'm not good with large groups of people, I could go on and on with excuses...but I joined on the spot! On August 27, 2020 right in the middle of a pandemic! I joined because I got to know my consultant, and I was confident in her ability to guide me and help me succeed! Being a Scentsy consultant has definitely changed me for the better! I'm so happy I was asked to join and be a part of an amazing group of people!
